QRK is the acoustic detection brand of Quark Optical, founded in 2022 with TÜBİTAK 1512 support. Our work began with an acoustic detector developed with Würth Elektronik after the 6 February earthquakes and continues with the SAR 6 system, which helps rescue teams reach survivors under debris faster.

2022
Our first step with TÜBİTAK 1512 support
Quark Optical was founded at Dijitalpark Teknokent with TÜBİTAK 1512 support. During this period, the company also continued its activities within Bahçeşehir University’s BauHub.
2023
Continuing our work at Teknopark Istanbul
We continue our design, product development and production activities within Cube Incubation at Teknopark Istanbul, developing competitive, specialized electro-optical and acoustic solutions.
